the summer festival info

Joining us for our Summer Festival on Saturday 21st June? Find out all the key info you’ll need for the event below.

TIMINGS + ENTRY

The festival begins at 1pm on Saturday 21st June and wraps up at 9pm. In the interests of sustainability, no physical tickets have been sent out for this event and we will have all festival goers' names on the guest list. Simply give the name of your booking to the team on the gate to gain entry to the festival and a wrist band.

There is plenty of parking available onsite and you will be guided to the best parking spot by our team. Cars are welcome to be left overnight, if required, but please make sure you pre-book your taxis home. There's info about all our recommended local taxi ranks on our website here.

WHAT'S ON

We have a fantastic line up of live music for you throughout the day, with Django Chutney kicking things off with a set at 1.30pm and Camkahla closing the festival with a banging DJ set at 7pm. See the image below for the full musical programme...

Down in the Chill Zone, there'll be a stretch tent playing family-friendly movies throughout the afternoon for those needing a bit of a time out from the festival fun. Just drop in for this whenever; it's included in the ticket price.

We will also have the utterly brilliant Ayesha Nauth running kids yoga sessions free of charge on a shaded spot on the decking from 1pm - 3pm. Reflexology and Indian Head Massage will be available from the lovely Helena Brazier for £10 per session and there will be kids face painting and adult face glitter on offer in the wellness area from 1pm - 4pm too. There will be a Kinsbrook merch tent selling all of our favourite products and flower crowns will be available for sale from The Blooming Truck.

food + drink

F O O D

Kinsbrook will be serving up cheese and charcuterie boxes from the Deli inside the Farmhouse, plus sweet treats including Ace Doughnuts (pictured above), local American-style brownies and Sussex ice cream all day long. We'll also have coffees available from inside the building.

We have three external food vendors coming in, who will be stationed by the stretch tent just outside the Deli; The LandoughverThe Burger Truck and Manjula Cateringfor a vegan street food alternative. The food vendors will be up and running from 1pm until they run out.

D R I N K

Our two outdoor bars are where you'll need to head to grab drinks - we have a Wine Bar serving up chilled Kinsbrook wines by the glass or by the bottle, and a Beers, Spirits and Softs Bar serving up everything else. Think beer on tap, spritzes and softies. There'll be plenty of bottled water available too and tap water points are stationed around the Farmhouse.

If you're feeling a rum vibe, head to the Manatii Rum Bar which will be run by our friends from Manatii for any rum-based cocktails.

Please note, we will not allow any external food or drink to be brought in to the festival. Please do not attempt to bring your own food or drink or it will be confiscated!

WINE TASTING MASTERCLASS

If you've booked a spot for the bolt-on Wine Tasting Masterclass tomorrow with Kinsbrook's founder Joe Beckett, simply head to the upstairs restaurant at Kinsbrook Farmhouse in time for the start time of 2pm. The masterclass will run for approximately one hour, finishing at 3pm.

Following the masterclass, we'll be opening the upstairs balcony for additional shaded seating for the festival and those who have attended the masterclass will get priority for these tables, although they will be open to everybody.

WEATHER

The forecast this weekend is looking incredible with blue skies and bright sunshine ahead. It will be a hot day, so make sure to bring your sun hats and sun cream (we will have Kinsbrook caps and bucket hats available for sale, too) and there will be plenty of shaded seating.

You're welcome also to bring folding chairs and picnic rugs, if you like. There are tap water fill up points around the site and we'll have plenty of bottled water too.

GETTING HERE

If you're driving, please make sure you enter our full first line of our address 'Kinsbrook Vineyard' or 'Kinsbrook Vineyard, Restaurant, Deli & Shop' into your sat nav. If you enter just our postcode, it may take you to the wrong location 10 minutes down the road. For more info about how to find us, click here.

If you're getting the train, please check the taxi and train info out on our website in advance and make sure you pre book taxis from the station to get here and to get home afterwards. This is very important as it can be difficult to call a taxi around here, especially on weekend days, so it's essential these are booked in advance.
