Our flagship KIN Sparkling White blends Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This particular vintage was harvested by a small team in September 2020; the year that covid gripped the world. While the country fell silent and businesses (including our own) were locked down, the fruit that went into this wine was slowly and quietly ripening in our West Sussex vineyard, in what became one of the best vintages in recent history.
Following vinification, this wine spent a minimum of four years on lees to allow the autolytic flavours to thoroughly develop. The resulting wine is a lovely balance of crisp, fresh orchard fruit with warm, buttered bread. It possesses a fine bubbly mousse and dry finish and serves as a reminder that every vintage tells a story.
