sustainability at kinsbrook

Sustainability and ethical, regenerative growing practices are very important to Kinsbrook, from the treatment of our vineyard to the winemaking processes and suppliers we work with.

As a small, boutique vineyard we have the luxury of keeping our approach as natural as possible. We are deeply interested in the natural wine movement and it’s something we have experimented ourselves in small batches with a view to expanding this over the coming years.

Our priority is always our soil. We endeavor to create an overall picture of soil health that encompasses the nutrients and Ph but more importantly the structure and biodiversity living within the soil.

In Kinsbrook Farmhouse (coming September 2022), we will aim to grow our own produce onsite using regenerative principles in a market garden. This will initially supply the kitchen but the aim is for it to eventually supply a large percentage of the farm shop too.

In the kitchen, we’ll be using a ‘farm to table’ concept, where customers are served small, creatively put-together, delicious sharing plates using ingredients which have been grown or farmed onsite.

We create a range of hand-crafted wines from grapes grown on our third-generation farmland.
